SOCIAL MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS (Social Mobile), including its subsidiaries and its Social Mobile brand (collectively “Social Mobile”) respects your privacy. SOCIAL MOBILE provides this Privacy Statement (the “Statement”) to help you understand how we collect and use personal information when you use a SOCIAL MOBILE phone, the SOCIAL MOBILE android mobile application (the “APP”) or SOCIAL MOBILE’s website located at www.SOCIAL MOBILE WEBSITE.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using our phones, the APP or the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Statement.
In addition to this Statement, for certain special offers, areas of the APP or Site, or certain services, activities or promotions, SOCIAL MOBILE may present different or additional personal information practices and terms specific to those programs at the time the information is collected.
Collection of Personal Information
When you use the APP or visit the Site, SOCIAL MOBILE may collect information when you choose to submit it, as well as automatically when you use the APP or Site.
Personal Information You Submit. SOCIAL MOBILE collects personal information when you submit it to the APP or Site (for example when you sign up for promotions, surveys, etc.). The personal information collected may include your name, birth date, address, phone numbers, email address, account information (such as account and online registration) and other specific personal information. In some cases, the personal information SOCIAL MOBILE asks you to provide will be mandatory to participate in a particular activity, service or promotion. If you do not provide this personal information, your participation in that activity, service or promotion may be limited or prohibited.
Automatically Collected Personal Information. SOCIAL MOBILE may also collect certain types of personal information automatically when you use the APP or Site. For example, when you use the APP or your web browser accesses the Site, SOCIAL MOBILE obtains certain types of personal information such as your IP address, IMEI number, browser type, email address, identity of other Apps you may have loaded on your device, domain names, location information and access time and pages you visited before and during your visit to the Site. SOCIAL MOBILE stores and uses certain information from your browser using “cookies” and other mechanisms. A “cookie” is a small data file that the Site transfers to your computer for storage to allow SOCIAL MOBILE’s server to “remember” specific personal information. SOCIAL MOBILE may use “cookies” and other tracking mechanisms to help support the integrity of the APP and registration processes on the Site, to retain changes that you made and to track marketing efforts. SOCIAL MOBILE may also allow third party service providers to collect information to help SOCIAL MOBILE track aggregate and individual use of the APP and Site. You may be able to disable some cookies by modifying your browser preferences. If you disable cookies, you can still use the APP and Site, but certain Site features and functionality may no longer work properly, or at all.
Use of Personal Information
SOCIAL MOBILE uses the personal information it collects to operate and improve its APP, web sites, business, products and services. Our goal is to provide you with better products and more effective customer service, make our APP, sites and services easier to use by eliminating the need for you to repeatedly enter the same information and detect fraud and abuse. Also, SOCIAL MOBILE may use your personal information to communicate with you. We may send service communications such as welcome emails, information on technical service issues, and security announcements. SOCIAL MOBILE may also occasionally send you product surveys or promotional mailings to inform you about other products or services available from SOCIAL MOBILE, and to fulfill promotions. Personal information collected through the APP and Site may be stored and processed in the United States. If you reside outside of the United States, by using the APP or Site, you consent to the transfer of information outside of the country where you reside.
Sharing Personal Information
Except as described in this Statement, SOCIAL MOBILE’s practice is to not disclose personal information about you outside of SOCIAL MOBILE and its affiliates without your consent, which may be express or implied, and given in writing, by using
or not using a check-off box, electronically, orally, or by your conduct, such as use of services or products. SOCIAL MOBILE does not sell, rent or lease its user lists to third parties. However, SOCIAL MOBILE may disclose personal information to its third party service providers (which are obligated to maintain confidentiality and security of the personal information and are restricted from using such information other than as authorized by SOCIAL MOBILE or as otherwise permitted by law) so they may complete transactions or perform services on SOCIAL MOBILE’s behalf, transactions on your behalf, or transactions related to providing services to you. For example, SOCIAL MOBILE may contract with third parties to provide search services, host the Site, collect and provide product reviews, provide promotions or surveys, send SOCIAL MOBILE’s emails, fulfill promotions, etc. However, SOCIAL MOBILE will restrict those third parties to using the information in connection with the services they provide. For each third party, we have contracts in place to ensure the information remains secure and limited in use and that their data processing complies with the EU regulation 2016/679 (GDPR standard). SOCIAL MOBILE may also disclose personal information to comply with the law and lawful requests or legal process, protect the rights or property of SOCIAL MOBILE and its customers, and when SOCIAL MOBILE believes in good faith that the disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of SOCIAL MOBILE, its employees and customers, or the public.
Children Under Age 13
SOCIAL MOBILE does not knowingly collect, and does not want to collect, personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not provide SOCIAL MOBILE any information about yourself, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address (directly, or on site bulletin boards, blogs, etc.). If SOCIAL MOBILE discovers personal information from children under age 13, we will delete that information.
You may opt-out of receiving future marketing emails from SOCIAL MOBILE by following the instructions in email. If you opt- out of receiving future marketing emails, SOCIAL MOBILE may still send you service communications such as (but not limited to) support and security updates and product recall information.
Access and Updates to Personal Information You Submit
You may be able to update your personal information through the Site by updating registration information you provide in connection with the Site. You will be required to sign in with your user name and password. SOCIAL MOBILE does not maintain all personal information it collects in a form that can be accessed or updated by you. SOCIAL MOBILE may keep records of changes to your personal information (including deletions).
Security of Personal Information
SOCIAL MOBILE is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. SOCIAL MOBILE and vendors we may select to provide hosting services for the Site use a variety of security technologies and administrative procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure with security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Internal access to users’ private and non-public personal information is restricted to Site administrators and others on a need-to-know basis.

SOCIAL MOBILE may periodically update this Statement to reflect changes in its practices or applicable laws or regulations. If the updated version of the Statement contains material changes to how SOCIAL MOBILE collects, uses, or shares your personal information, SOCIAL MOBILE will post a prominent notice of the updated version on the Site or send you an email. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Statement.
